Things To Put Into Wedding Cards

What happened to Falcone, and that also happened to a few months after Borsellino, is still, years later, a place of honor in my memory.

I remember especially the reaction of people, places filled with men and women shouting against the Mafia cowards, remember that the politicians on TV solemn words pronounced by invoking a hard line against the Mafia and the Mafia, I remember a social and political activism than ever since I can remember, was so bustling.

the streets of towns and cities in those days, anything goes, demonstrations, torchlight processions, and especially anger, the anger of those in Sicily (and Italians in general) at that period seemed to have declared war on the Mafia.

Today all seems forgotten, many young people of my generation can no longer recall the battles for the rule of law. The sacrifice of Falcone and Borsellino, who had the dream of freedom to a people enslaved, it seems to have dissolved into nothingness.

I sometimes wonder if all that is left is really a tree in via Notarbartolo and two plaques on the A29.

Even the institutions that should be the first to commemorate their dead, they seem to remember. In particular, the highest office in our region, the President Salvatore Cuffaro, last year chose, in the company of Mr Belt (suspected to be a close friend of Brusca), support the campaign of a candidate for mayor of Partinico, rather than participate in the demonstration against the Mafia in memory of Falcone and Borsellino.

be clear that most of my criticism is an invitation to the coherence, moreover, what is the point spread slogans such as "the mafia sucks" if not then it is a fitting tribute to those who were the principal architects of the struggle the mafia.

conclude with a wish for this beautiful and wretched, in the hope that we can always indignation at the cowardice and savagery with which the mafia killed our champions, Boris Giuliano Rocco Chinnici until John Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, to remember their courage and their ideas, and finally, looking ahead, building a future in the law.

Kawasaki Disease More Condition_symptoms

The kingdom of impunity ...

bananopoli .. That is the information, where news is damage to the contrary, where who is convicted of corruption naziolnale suddenly becomes a hero.
In this regard I am reminded of an event that I witnessed first hand;
for about a week started the campaign (even if the outgoing mayor of the "coolest city in Italy appear to have begun a" Pelino "before) and some national political figures have begun to support this or that candidate, depending on the party membership in the various meetings that haunt the streets of towns and villages.
In particular I was impressed that the intervention of Lorenzo Cesa (now that I understand to be the national secretary of the UDC) during a campaign rally in Mezzagno Belmonte, who accompanied by two other political figures, all Made in UDC, or Totò Cuffaro and Saverio Romano, it is possible to define "scum" all the far left first, then focus the attention (and insults) on the current Speaker of the House Fausto Bertinotti and the current national secretary of the PCI Oliviero Di Liberto, literally defined "scum" .
At this point it is assumed that to make such statements Lorenzo Cesa is a man without blemish and without sin, let's check ...

Biography taken from Wikipedia

"Lorenzo Cesa
( Arcinazzo Romano, RM , August 16 1951) is an Italian politician. held since 2005 the Secretary of the ' UDC .
[...]

Criminal record

Cesa In 1992 he was investigated by prosecutors in Rome for abuse of office, along with the addition of Mayor Franco Carraro, for alleged irregularities concerning the issue of funding of 90 billion lire for a charge of census buildings of the town. Cesa is not condemned.

Since 1993 had a lawsuit for extortion, accused by the Roman magistrates had received a bribe of three hundred thousand euro on behalf of the Minister Gianni Prandini, suffering in this year for a period of incarceration, after a few days of the arrest. Cesa initially escaped arrest, from 6 to ' 8 March 1993, remaining two days on the lam and then surrender voluntarily to the public prosecutor.

In the early stages of the process has admitted the occurrence of the act, but declared outsider, because the money would not have been intended for him but Prandini, all'epoca ministro dei lavori pubblici e presidente dell'Anas e all'ingegner Antonio Crespo (direttore generale dell'ente).

Le imputazioni confermate riguardano 750 miliardi lire in rigged contracts, which were worth 35 billion lire to the parties concerned in bribes between 1986 and 1993.

The Appeal Court then annulled the following year, the decision to have encountered an incompatible Gup: the Court of Ministers (assigned by the involvement of the Minister Prandini) can not support the prosecution's role and must return the case to the magistrate of Rome, which declares the acts of 2005 as "unusable" and has the "no case". Meanwhile, the successor statute of limitations through amendments to the legislation implemented by the Berlusconi government .

Best Time To Wax Before Holiday

Let the adventure begin ...

The blog is born to give voice to the citizens of Palermo and Sicily in general, to expose their problems and resentment, to denounce the politicians and their false promises, to promote the culture of law for which many have lost life.
born to break that wall of secrecy that for too many years chained to silence the Sicilian honest.

I trincererò behind a veil of hypocrisy, here we discuss politics and the will freely, but with an exception to many other similar blog: here ideologies give way to facts.

These are the resolutions, however, quite ambitious, I hope to meet in the near future, possibly with the help of those who want to support my cause.

For those who asked if I decided to call the blog "Bananopoli - The city of banana" because the second goal of this blog is to talk about the facts that the media empire (baNANOpoli the fact) of an Italian politician short stature (among other much beloved in Palermo) is glissando with painstaking care, often in the above-mentioned facts "illustrious" (?) members of our beautiful city.
